Call-Out Report: Evacuation - Diamond Hill

Responded to callout in National Park for Dutch tourist with injured ankle. Casualty was treated on scene and then carried by stretcher to the bog road. Casualty was then transferred by car to Letterfrack village where they were handed over to a HSE ambulance.

Call-Out Report: Rescue - Maumturks

Team tasked by Clifden Gardaí to assist a couple, one of whom became cragfast on their descent to Loch Mham Ochóige from Binn Idir an Dá Log. A strop rescue was executed to lower the cragfast woman to level ground. Neither of the casualties were injured. Both were then walked to back to the road and driven to their car at Mám Éan.

Call-Out Report: Evacuation - Oughterard

Team responded to a call from Salthill Gardaí to assist a HSE ambulance crew on the lakeshore outside Oughterard. A party of three French tourists were camping by the shore while walking the Western Way. One of the tourists suffered an attack of vertigo and due to the rough terrain a stretcher evacuation was required. The casualty was transferred to a vacuum mattress and stretchered to the road from where he was transferred to GUH by ambulance.

Call-Out Report: Search - The Burren

Assisted Doolin Coast Guard unit in search for man reported missing from Clarinbridge. Extensive search by Coast Guard helicopter. GMRT members assisted in searches of Abbey Hill and Slieve Carran. Man not located and search suspended pending more information.

Call-Out Report: Assistance - Diamond Hill

National Park Service required assistance for four walkers stuck on Diamond Hill due to high winds. Team was tasked by Clifden Gardaí to respond. National Park staff located and recovered the four walkers, prior to the arrival on scene of the team.
